My heartfelt thanks to the Brethren who participated in the Masonic service for Bro Junior Nichols on June 23. This was a courtesy service for his home Lodge, Smithfield # 182, and we will send them a copy of the Emergent Meeting minutes.
Secondly, many thanks to the Brethren who participated in our DOUBLE Fellow Craft Degree morning on June 19. Unfortunately, we did not have a live candidate, but both degrees went VERY well, and I truly appreciate the efforts of every Brother who participated.
Then, our next Stated Meeting is Monday, July 3d at 10 AM. Yes, this is the day before the holiday, but that is the day our By-Laws call for our meeting.
A special HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Bro Ed Fisher, who will be 102 on July 19!!! Happy Birthday Bro Ed!!!!
Lastly, I have called a SPECIAL meeting for Monday, July 17 at 9 AM – yes, that is correct, 9 AM for a Full Form practice of the Master Mason degree (that includes the lecture and everything). Lodge officers have been reaching out to members to fill the various cast positions for the Second Section, so please lend a hand for this degree. This will be one of our two required Master Mason degrees. We will confer the other one in August.
